Come and join our intern, Kate, as we discuss the work of theologian and mystic, Julian of Norwich. Julian was born in England in the 12th Century. During a sickness that almost killed her, Julian had many visions of God that she later wrote down. These evocative visions let the reader ponder the vastness of God, the masculine and feminine in the Divine, and the deep sacrifice that Jesus made for us. This group will meet on Thursdays, Dec. 5, 12, and 19 at 6:30pm in the library.
Excerpts of the text will be available for free, and if you would like to purchase a copy of the book, you may do so.
