Camp 
Washington serves approximately 100 campers each week providing programming for young people ranging in age from 5-16. They are served by a trained staff of about 30 individuals from various backgrounds. Providing the best in camping means having the best in counselors and program staff.
If you are interested in being a part of a Christian Community for eight-weeks this summer we might be looking for you.

Winter Wonderland Weekend
February 17 - 19, 2012
 Open to all children ages 7-12, this event offers an opportunity to sample traditional camp programs and special winter activities! Limited spaces available. Planned activities include:

The Bishops’ Open for Camp Washington
This year (2012) the event is being held on Thursday, June 14th at Hawks’ Landing Country Club in Southington, CT. More information will be posted on Camp Washington’s website at www.campwashington.org and brochures will be mailed to the parishes in early Spring. The cost of the event is $155 per golfer with includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, dinner and a lot of fun. Last year we raised approx. $17,000 for the campers. -Another way to support the event could be by becoming a sponsor. That would be in the area between $1,000 and $5,000. -Another easier way would be by purchasing a Tee Sign for $100. If every parish would purchase a sign, we could raise $17,000 from the signs alone. -Is there even another way to participate? Yes. Does anyone in your parish have a gift to donate to our Tea Cup Auction? Big or little everything helps. |
The Bishops’ Open which was formerly The Hastings Open (for over 25 years) is the only fundraiser for campers attending Camp Washington in need of financial assistance.
